KLBBs' Caribbean Cruise on Fred Olsen's Balmoral

The Neptune Show Lounge is on Deck 7 forward just past the on board shops. Really not a bad seat in the house. There's a large dance floor just in front of the stage that can be raised for production shows. There are 3 restaurants on board as well as the Palms Cafe all open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Palms being a buffet style venue. The main restaurant, the Ballindalloch, deck 6 aft, was the original and only restaurant on the Crown Odyssey. Its decor is bright and pleasing to the eye with Wegwood china and white linen service.

The other 2 restaurants are the Avon and Spey (Avon pictured below) which are on deck 10 aft. Both nicely appointed with ocean views. Although a British ship, the food is not the traditional British fare. Lots of seafood, lamb, chicken and beef entrees and no heavy sauces. Several appetisers, soups and salads are on the menu and two vegetarian main courses were always offered. Topping off your meal are several decadent deserts along with ice cream and sorbets.
